The Salesforce Spring'18 release included features related to GDPR compliance::
- Duplicate Jobs which help identify existing duplicates (good one for GDPR).
- A new standard object called Individual can be used to store a contacts data preferences (first included in the Spring'18 release). Future releases will bring improvements. With the Summer'18 release, the Individual object will support standard object features, e.g. it can be used with process builder.
